Assistant HR Manager

About Our Client

Our client is a Malaysia‑based arm of a global industrial engineering group seeking for a Assistant HR Manager to join their team to support their day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding, including CV screening, interview coordination, documentation, and ensuring timely, compliant hiring processes.
  • Manage core HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, maintaining accurate employee data and records within HR systems and ensuring proper documentation throughout.
  • Coordinate payroll and benefits administration, liaising with external vendors to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and handling employee queries on compensation and benefits.
  • Support employee relations matters, including handling HR enquiries, assisting with disciplinary documentation, and managing exit processes and interviews.
  • Provide operational support for performance management cycles, coordinating timelines, communications, and tracking completion of goal‑setting and reviews.
  • Prepare HR reports and support ongoing HR administration, ensuring confidentiality, data accuracy, and smooth day‑to‑day HR processes.

Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, or similar.
  • Comes with around 4 -5 years of experience in HR operations, with strengths in recruitment and payroll operations being an added advantage.
  • Comes with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
