Ambition Singapore and Ambition Malaysia are proud to be recognised as award‑winning employers, receiving Silver for Best Company to Work For – Medium at the Employee Happiness Awards SG & MY 2026, reaffirming our commitment to building a positive, engaging, and people‑first workplace culture.
This award honours organisations that place a strong focus on employee happiness, wellbeing, and meaningful work, values that sit at the very core of Ambition's purpose of Building Better Futures for our people, clients, and professionals.
The Employee Happiness Awards Singapore and Malaysia recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence in creating happy, healthy, and inclusive workplaces across the region.
Launched in 2026, the inaugural awards received 230+ submissions from organisations across Singapore and Malaysia, with finalists shortlisted across 25 categories following a rigorous judging process. Entries were evaluated by a panel of 28 jury members from Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, the USA and the UAE, who selected the Gold and Silver winners.
Being named a Silver winner in this highly competitive field is a meaningful endorsement of Ambition as a top employer in Singapore and Malaysia.
At Ambition, we believe that building better futures starts with our people. Creating an award-winning workplace means taking a holistic approach to employee wellbeing and ensuring our teams feel supported at every stage of their careers.
1) Supporting mental and emotional wellbeing
Mental health is a key priority at Ambition. Our teams have access to an Employee Assistance Programme, trained Mental Health First Aiders, and regular mental health awareness initiatives that encourage open conversations and early support.
2) Promoting physical wellbeing
We champion healthy lifestyles through initiatives such as Annual Wellness Week, Quarterly Wellbeing Days, flexible benefits, and access to healthy snacks across our offices, supporting our employees to prioritise their physical health and energy.
3) Enabling work-life balance
To support sustainable performance, we offer hybrid work arrangements, an attractive and inclusive leave policy, and a Return to Work Programme for mothers, helping our people manage work alongside personal and family commitments.
4) Creating belonging and inclusive workplace culture
Belonging is central to our culture. We actively promote inclusive leave policies, meaningful celebrations, and a strong focus on Allyship, Belonging and Inclusivity (ABI), ensuring every employee feels respected, valued, and connected.
5) Leveraging technology to improve the employee experience
Through tools such as Ambion, our HR chat agent, employees enjoy faster access to information and more consistent HR guidance. This allows our HR teams to focus less on administration and more on supporting people and development.
6) Living our purpose through CSR and community impact
Ambition is passionate about creating a purpose-led work environment. Our corporate social responsibility initiatives focus on environmental sustainability, community engagement, and employee-led impact.
Key highlights include:
Over 1,300 trees planted through sustainability partnerships
Partnerships with 20+ NGOs and charities across Singapore and Malaysia
These initiatives provide our people with opportunities to contribute beyond the workplace and create meaningful change together.
Reflecting on the recognition, Matthew Cooper, Managing Director of Ambition Malaysia, shared how everyday leadership behaviour shape a culture where people can thrive:
"What this means to us is seeing the way our people show up for each other every day. In Malaysia, we focus on creating an environment where people feel genuinely supported, whether that is through wellbeing initiatives, flexibility, or simply encouraging open conversations. When people are looked after, they bring their best selves to work, and that is what Building Better Futures truly means to us."
Speaking on the importance of purposeful leadership and engagement, Michael Nette, Senior Managing Director of Ambition Singapore & India, added:
"Strong culture is never accidental. It is shaped through intentional leadership, listening to our people and continuously improving how we work together. This recognition reflects our team's commitment to building a workplace where individuals feel connected, empowered, and proud of what they do every day."
Being named a Silver winner for Best Company to Work For is a milestone we are proud of, but it is also a reminder to keep listening, learning, and improving how we can support our people.
If you are looking for careers in recruitment or want to work for a company that genuinely puts people first, Ambition offers opportunities to grow, contribute, and build a meaningful career across Singapore and Malaysia.
